He worked with Peter Paul Rubens, Cornelis Schut, Gonzales Coques and Erasmus II Quellinus. The highest-ranking nobles queued up for his flower still lifes. Studying his work opens up a whole new world. Years of extensive and remarkable technological-material research sheds light on the past and present.
