1913. The Great Art Explosion
From 16 September 2025, Singer Laren will present the exhibition 1913. The Great Art Explosion. Colourful and daring works by artists including Jan Sluijters, Piet Mondrian, Kees van Dongen and Jacoba van Heemskerck will be shown alongside contemporaries such as Kandinsky, Modigliani and Delaunay, making the intense artistic exchange of the period palpable. The exhibition is conceived as a thematic journey through six galleries and places masterpieces from Singer Laren’s own collection in a broader international context. In addition, two remarkable works from The Phoebus Foundation will be on view: Summer by Gust. De Smet and The Dynamics of the Dance by Jules Schmalzigaug.
1913 is on view until 11 January 2026. Further information and tickets are available at www.singerlaren.nl.
