Rings that Rock
Rings That Rock explores the diamond ring as a reflection of power, love, and identity. Spanning seven centuries, the exhibition reveals how rings sealed political alliances, carried personal stories, and evolved into enduring symbols of status and emotion.
Also on view from the collection of The Phoebus Foundation is an exceptional piece: a rare early 17th-century gimmel ring with memento mori. This type of wedding ring consists of two interlocking halves that join to form a single ring, symbolising connection and unbreakable unity. Hidden within the jewel is a miniature of a baby and a skeleton, a subtle reference to beginning and end, life and mortality.

Rings That Rock runs from April 2 through November 8, 2026. More information and tickets via divamuseum.be.
